HYT challenges traditional technology and tries smooth timing in the first watch
For watchmakers, putting special things on the table is vital, but it becomes more and more difficult. We admit that telling time with liquid is unique. The water clock has existed since the startling of the pharaohs and modern versions, but until now, no one has tried to bring this technology into the modern watchmaking world.
HYT (Hydraulic Mechanical Watchmaker) consists of six partners, led by Vincent Perriard. They are committed to using liquid as part of their mechanism to produce watches. They chose H1 Hydro Mechanical Watch as their first watch, and HYT said it has a total of eight registered patents: seven technologies and one design.
Harry Winston Opus Ten and the famous character Jean-Francois Mojon of MB&F Legacy Machine were invited to help develop the movement. The Swiss company Heibling Techniks, known for its weather software and surgical positioning technology, supported Preciflex to create the liquid system.

Unlike more traditional watches that are driven by gears and springs, replica H1 relies on bellows, pistons and liquid.
