Cartier Tank Mini Keeps Small Watch

Tiny watches have become ubiquitous within the collector community over the past couple of years. A wide breadth of social media content has led to a voracious appetite amongst collectors (old and new) for smaller, design-led watches. Celebrities have embraced the trend (see Timothée Chalamet wearing a ladies’ Crash), and in turn have caused the wider world to pay attention to “men in small watches.” Furthermore, the notion of gender at brands like Cartier and Audemars Piguet is no longer presented as a strict binary when it comes to new product releases. You could say that the watch world is loosening up a little. high quality replica watches The new…

    Rolex Perpetual 1908 Platinum

Last year, Rolex introduced the Perpetual 1908, an entire new collection of dress watches that replaced the long-running Cellini. It was a solid, if slightly plain, take on a dress watch by Rolex. This year, Rolex is introducing the 1908 Perpetual in platinum, adding a “rice-grain” guilloché pattern to an icy-blue dial. It’s enough to turn the 1908 into a compelling proposition, and while Rolex had a quieter slate of releases this year, the 1908 feels like a standout. Like last year’s gold 1908 models, the 950 platinum measures 39×9.5mm. As is typical with Rolex, it pairs the platinum case with an icy blue dial. But it also features what…

Steel Daytona On Interchangeable Oysterflex: Mark Kauzlarich

Since Rolex surprised us with the Le Mans Daytona, the iconic chronograph has been back on my mind. I’ve always sort of dismissed the modern Daytona as a watch for other people. I don’t know who they are, but they weren’t me. Then the Le Mans changed everything. I’ll never forget that release and how it exceeded expectations in person in every way. So I started looking at Daytonas again. But there’s a problem. The best Daytona possible doesn’t exist. Yet. www.highluxurystore.ru After getting to compare the Le Mans to the white gold Daytona on Oysterflex, I realized that if you could only choose between strap and bracelet on a…

A Phosphorescent Twist To Three Of Its Most Popular Designs

G-SHOCK holds a unique position in the world of watches, transcending its humble pursuit of creating an ultra-tough watch into a bonafide fashion icon and streetwear staple. While the brand has, of course, expanded to offer more premium options, it maintains a wide variety of watches that maintain a price point of just a hair over $100 without sacrificing anything in terms of utility, style, or toughness. All this is to say, G-SHOCK is, first and foremost, a watch of the people. And, I will go out on a limb and say that the people love something that glows in the dark – my kind of people, at least. So…

Gold And Titanium Meet With The 38mm

Being exposed to watches on a daily basis, what I am really after these days is a good surprise. I want a watch to delight me in ways I hadn’t expected and to make me rethink how I contextualize said watch, and perhaps the brand that produced it. On a trip to the Citizen offices in New York City not too long ago, I was met with such a surprise. As I was looking over the brand’s new releases, a single – already released – watch was passed across the table to me. It was The Citizen. That’s not hyperbole, that’s the name: The Citizen. The watch in question came…

Royal Oak White Gold Selfwinding Tourbillon Extra-Thin (RD#3) In 37mm Ref. 26660BC

Without overstating it, the RD#3 in 37mm is one of the most impressive things Audemars Piguet has done in a long time. It took intense effort to create such an elegant self-winding movement with a tourbillon and place it in the iconic 39mm by 8.1mm “Jumbo” case. Then they went and shaved an extra 2mm off the width. Impressive. This new model has a smoked blue Petite Tapisserie bezel and 12 baguette-cut diamond hour markers. The white gold case (a new material perfect for gem setting) is still 8.1mm thick and has 50m of water resistance, and the bezel is set with 32 baguette-cut diamonds. This complements the 37mm RD#3…
